The Club premises are only for the use of members, and members’ spouses, minor children and guests, who are welcome to use the Club and its facilities at any time regardless of any reserved dates or non-club functions. Except as provided in Rule 2 and for scheduled Club functions open to non-members, no person is allowed in or on the Club premises unless he or she is accompanied by a member or his spouse. Members and all other persons are expected to follow all Rules & Regulations of the Club.

Members' children over 21, who are not full-time students, are considered to be guests and must be accompanied by a member or his spouse. Members are responsible for the actions of their family and their family’s guests at all times. The repair of damage caused by a member’s family or guests is the responsibility of the member.

The handling, possession, or consumption of alcohol by any person under the age of 21 years is expressly prohibited! (By-Laws, Article IX)

Children under 16 years of age in the pool area must be accompanied by a responsible adult at ALL times.
Members' children over 21, who are not full-time students, are considered to be guests and must be accompanied by a member or his spouse to use the Club pool. With prior written parental approval, members' children aged 16 to 21 (and full-time students over 21), and up to three guests per member’s family accompanied by a member’s child at all times, may use the Club pool unaccompanied by a parent from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM from May through September. Provided, however, that said written permission is signed by the member father of the children and posted on the Club Bulletin Board prior to May 1 each year, or as soon thereafter as practical, but, in any event, before any such children are allowed to visit the pool unaccompanied by the member of his spouse.

The Board will ensure that the following pool rules, established by the Membership, for the safety and protection of the members and their guests, are posted and made known to all members.
The Board of Directors shall cause the following safety measures to be instituted:
Reservations to conduct a non-club function in or on the Club premises may only be granted by the Board of Directors to a Resident or Life member in good standing (meaning the member’s dues and any special assessments are paid for the previous month; for example, December dues must be paid to request a date at the regular January meeting). A member granted a reservation must abide by all conditions set forth by the Board, which, at a minimum, will include payment of all fees & deposits and clean-up responsibilities.
The renting or reservation of the Club, or any part of the premises, to Associate, Non-Resident, Senior, and Honorary Members, or to non-members is prohibited by the By-Laws.
The Board will NOT grant any reservation more than one year in advance.
The Board will NOT grant any reservation for any Sunday during May through September.
The Board will NOT grant a reservation for a Friday or Saturday during May through September in any calendar year prior to the regular January Membership meeting for that year.
Prior to each regular January Membership meeting, the Board will reserve (hold) one, or more, Saturdays a month from May to September for Club activities.
Requests to reserve the Club for a non-club function on Fridays or Saturdays not reserved for Club activities during May through September in any calendar year will be granted at the regular January Membership meeting for that year.
The first order of business for said January meeting will be a discussion and vote on new Resident members, if any; followed by said granting of reservations; and then followed by the approval of meeting minutes, the Treasurer’s Report, and other customary agenda items. All eligible members requesting a reservation for a Friday or Saturday during May through September will write their names on request forms provided for that purpose. The order of selection will then be decided by lot until all such dates are reserved, or no more members seek a Friday or Saturday reservation during said period.
The Board will NOT grant more than one reservation to any member for a Friday and/or Saturday during May through September of the same calendar year at a regular January Membership meeting.
Members do not have to be present at the meeting to request a reservation for a Friday or Saturday during said period but may designate, at any time prior to this order of business, the Social Coordinator (and no other member) to act as their proxy during the selection process. The Social Coordinator will write his name under the member’s name on said request form and will select a date for said member when the member’s name is called. If the Social Coordinator is not present at the beginning of the meeting, the President will appoint another member to act in his stead.
Requests to reserve the Club for a non-club function for any other date in the calendar year will also be granted at the regular January Membership meeting if requested by an eligible member, in person or by proxy. If two or more eligible members request the same date, the confirmed reservation will be decided by lot.
To reserve the use of the Club or its facilities for a non-club function on any available date AFTER the regular January Membership meeting, a Resident or Life member in good standing must:
A $100 non-refundable Reservation Fee and a $50 Clean-Up Deposit must be paid at the time of reservation confirmation for all Friday and Saturday reservations during the year. Only a $50 Clean-Up Deposit must be paid at the time of reservation for all Sunday through Thursday reservations during the year. Provided, however, that the payment deadline for reservations granted at the regular January meeting is extended until the beginning of the regular February Board meeting.
To redeem the Clean-Up Deposit, a member must satisfactorily clean up the Club premises and present a completed & signed Clean-Up-Checklist (available on the Club Bulletin Board and posted on TheGluttonsESS.com) to the Social Coordinator, who will then direct the Treasurer to refund the deposit.
A member awarded a confirmed reservation date may transfer said date to another eligible member in good standing provided that, prior to said date, he notifies the Social Coordinator of the transfer and a non-refundable $50 Transfer Fee is paid to the Treasurer in addition to the original Reservation Fee, Clean-Up Deposit, and non-refundable $50 Additional Date Fee, if the member receiving the reservation date has been, or is later, granted another Friday or Saturday reservation in the same calendar year.
3-13
Notwithstanding Rule 3.6 and as provided in Section 3.9 of this Rule 3, an eligible member may request to reserve the Club for a non-club function 45 days or less prior to a Board-Reserved-Date-for-Club-Activities if no Club event has been scheduled for that date. If such reservation is awarded, the member must pay a non-refundable $50 Additional Date Fee for each such date, in addition to the Reservation Fee and Clean-Up Deposit required in Rule 3.10 of this Rule 3, if said member has been, or is later, granted another Friday or Saturday reservation in the same calendar year.

If the Prospective member receives a majority of the votes cast, he becomes an Associate Member. If he does not, he surrenders his Club key-fob; and cannot be sponsored again for at least one year from the date of the vote. (By-Laws, Article III, Section 1)
Prospective & Associate members shall not reserve the club, shall not vote, and shall not serve as a Club Officer or Board Member. (By-Laws, Article III, Section 2.4.1)
Prospective & Associate members are expected to work at club functions and attend a minimum of five Membership or Board meetings during their first year of membership,
(By-Laws, Article III, Section 2.4.3)
Associate members may not apply to the Board for Resident status for at least one year.
